Location: In-Home Care (Client Residences)

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Pay Type: Hourly (Non-Exempt)

Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Care Attendants (Caregiver) to provide essential in-home care services to elderly and disabled clients. This role focuses on supporting daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring client safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

Personal Care Services

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• Provide oral care, skin care, and hair care
• Support toileting needs

Mobility Assistance

• Assist with walking, transfers, and positioning
• Help clients move safely throughout the home

Meal & Nutrition Support

• Prepare light meals
• Assist with feeding and hydration

Medication Assistance

• Support clients with self-administered medications

Housekeeping Duties

• Light housekeeping (cleaning, dusting, vacuuming)
• Laundry and linen changes
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment

Safety & Monitoring

• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Monitor and report changes in client condition

Transportation & Errands

• Assist with scheduling transportation
• Escort clients to appointments or accompany them as needed

Documentation

• Complete and submit required reports accurately and on time

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• No certification required (training provided if applicable)
• Compassion for seniors and individuals with disabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable and punctual

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist clients physically
