Attendant support for everyday tasks
Sunrise Primary Care offers Personal Attendant Services (PAS), which is a Medicaid benefit that provides personal care in the home by an attendant who will assist the client with everyday tasks. All referrals for PAS come from caseworkers with the Department of Aging and Disability Services, or directly from HMO’s, Wellpoint, Molina, Superior, Aetna, the VA, and United Healthcare.
Friendly visits that lift spirits and ease stress
Companionship is an important part of services our attendants provide. Having a friendly visit with someone who cares can go a long way towards fighting depression in the elderly. Attendants can also be brought in to provide other caregivers, such as family members, with respite.
