Dressing: Assist the client with getting dressed and undressed, including help with buttons, zippers, socks, shoes, and any adaptive clothing needs. Offer encouragement and allow the client to do as much as they safely can to promote independence.
Toileting: Provide toileting assistance as needed, from stand-by support to hands-on help with safe transfers between the toilet and a wheelchair or walker. Assist with proper hygiene, ensure the client is stable and comfortable, and help prevent falls by using safe techniques and recommended equipment.
