Speech Therapy

Speech Therapy

Sunrise’s Speech Therapy Program is designed to help patients regain the essential skills that support everyday life—clear communication, stronger thinking and memory, and safe swallowing. Our licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) provide personalized, goal-driven therapy that meets patients where they are and helps them steadily progress toward independence.

    • Difficulty speaking smoothly or finding words
  • Language and communication
    • Trouble understanding or expressing thoughts
    • Difficulty naming items or following conversations
    • Reduced ability to communicate needs effectively
  • Cognitive functioning
    • Memory problems
    • Reduced attention or concentration
    • Difficulty with problem-solving, planning, or safety awareness
  • Swallowing and eating safety (dysphagia)
    • Coughing or choking while eating or drinking
    • Difficulty chewing or moving food safely
    • Increased risk of aspiration (food/liquid entering the airway)
